We are writing to inform you that our Arborfield branch surgery will be closing permanently at the end of October.
The site has not been in use since the COVID-19 pandemic, due to challenges with lone working and changes in the way we manage our patient population. During this time, we have continued to provide care for all patients through our main site in Swallowfield and our branch site in Shinfield.
Despite exploring various proposals, we have unfortunately been unable to progress any viable plans for reopening the Arborfield site. As a result, and with much regret, the decision has been taken to close. We recognise this may be disappointing news and share in that sadness, though this outcome has been outside of our control.
Looking ahead, we will continue to explore alternative options for delivering services beyond our Swallowfield and Shinfield locations.
