We are looking to recruit a good, all round practice nurse for up to 37.5 hours per week. Ideally we would like someone with skills in COPD and asthma.

Dr Beacham, the Senior Partner at the practice, joined Swallowfield in 2002. He has special interests in the care of the elderly and minor surgery. He is the Chair of the Berkshire West Medicines Management Committee and Primary Care Lead for Wokingham CCG.

MBBS MRCP (Madras 1991)
Dr Prabhakar came to Swallowfield in 2004. He has special interests in cardiology and care of the elderly.

MBBS DCH DRCOG DFSRH (London 2004)
Dr Ansari joined the practice in 2010. He has special interests in respiratory medicine, sexual health and minor surgery and is training to become a GP trainer.

MB BCh BAO (Cork 1980)
Dr Helen Hegarty has been at Swallowfield since 1993. Her special interests are in paediatrics and women’s health, and she is the Primary Care Clinical Governance lead and GP Appraisal lead for West Berkshire.

BM BCh MRCGP DRCOG (Oxon 2008)
Dr Dugmore joined the practice in 2014. She works part time (4 days per week) and has a special interest in palliative care.

Dr Choudry joined us in March to cover maternity leave. She will be with us for approximately 6 months as a locum GP.
